Harriett Tubman leadershipDo you know your leadership style? Would you like to know what it takes to be a great leader? Well, this program invites you to learn essential leadership skills from Harriet Tubman, one of the greatest leaders of all time! This high-energy program spotlights Mrs. Tubman's innate wisdom and capabilities in the area of servant leadership, bringing 19th century best practices into the heart of 21st century society.

Target audience:  Upper Elementary School - Adult

 

HARRIET SPEAKS!

Accompanied by heart-warming, interactive stories, rhythmic poetry, and foot-stomping songs, Harriet will stop in to share slices of her incredible life before, during, and after the Underground Railroad.

Now, in the comfort of your own home, you and your friends can engage in lively activities, entertaining stories, and timeless life lessons from one of the most famous conductors of the Underground Railroad! You provide the space and she’ll come right on over!

TUBMAN IN THE CLASSROOM

Or maybe a lesson in social-emotional learning showing the value of helping others? Or, perhaps, a social studies lesson about the complexities of escaping slavery? Just give her your learning objectives and she’ll engage your students with songs, chants, stories, movement, and drama to bring the standards to life!
